Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 1, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EDmango AI (the "Service"), operated by EDmango LLC ("EDmango," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. What EDmango AI is
EDmango AI is an AI-assisted tool that helps adults — parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals — understand and support a learner in their care, particularly around neurodiversity- affirming approaches to communication and behavior. EDmango AI is used by adults, about learners. Learners themselves never interact with it directly, and the Service is not designed or intended for direct use by children.
EDmango AI is not a diagnostic or clinical assessment tool, and is not a substitute for evaluation by a licensed professional. It will never label or diagnose a learner. It's built to help you understand and respond to patterns you're already seeing — not to replace the judgment of a speech-language pathologist, physician, psychologist, educator, or other qualified professional working with your learner.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for use by adults only and is not directed to, and should not be used by, children.
3. Your account
Creating an account requires only an email address and a password — we deliberately don't collect a name, date of birth, or other contact information at signup. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. We require two-factor authentication (TOTP) on every account. If you choose to mark a device as trusted, we may not ask for your authenticator code on that device for up to 30 days. You can see and remove your trusted devices at any time from your account page. Notify us promptly at help@edmango.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Learner profiles and your authority to use them
The Service lets you create one or more "learner profiles" to give the AI context about a specific learner — an optional first name (paired with a system-generated identifier, not a real surname) plus behavioral observations and conversation history you choose to share. You represent that you have the appropriate authority and permission — as a parent, legal guardian, or otherwise — from the learner's family to discuss that learner and share this information with the Service, consistent with the acknowledgment you make when creating a profile. Don't create a profile for, or share information about, a learner you don't have that permission for.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates another person's rights;
- Attempt to use the Service to obtain a medical or clinical diagnosis, or represent its output as one;
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems;
- Submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes on someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- Use automated means to access the Service outside of the interfaces we provide, or to scrape or bulk-extract data.
6. AI-generated content
Responses are generated by an AI model and are provided for informational and supportive purposes only. AI-generated content may be incomplete, may not account for information specific to your situation, and may occasionally be inaccurate. You're responsible for applying your own judgment — and, where appropriate, the judgment of a qualified professional — before relying on or acting on anything the Service generates. Never disregard professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something the Service told you.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers to operate — including, among others, an AI provider to generate chat responses, an identity provider for sign-in, and analytics and email-delivery providers. Our Privacy Policy describes these in more detail. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' own terms where applicable.
8. Your content
You retain ownership of what you submit to the Service (messages, learner-profile information, and the like). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, store, and process it as needed to provide and improve the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy — including sending relevant portions to our AI provider to generate a response. We don't claim ownership of your content.
9. Data retention and account dormancy
We describe how long we keep different kinds of data in our Privacy Policy. In short: individual chat messages are periodically condensed and are not kept indefinitely, a learner profile that goes untouched for an extended period will trigger advance warning emails before anything happens to it, and an account with no activity for an extended period will eventually be deleted after multiple advance warnings. You can also request deletion of your account or a specific learner profile at any time by contacting us or using the in-product controls where available.
10. Fees
The Service is tied to a payment processor. We may make changes to plans or pricing in the future; if we do, we'll provide notice before any change affects your account, and continued use after that notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if we discontinue the Service generally. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and this sentence) will survive.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EDmango LLC and its officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold EDmango LLC harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights, including a learner's family's rights.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of The United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
